Role Ukrajiny při řešení podněsterského konfliktu

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o problematice podněsterského konfliktu a roli Ukrajiny v procesu jeho řešení. Zabývá se vzájemnými vztahy mezi Ukrajinou a Podněstřím v historické perspektivě a analyzuje příčiny, průběh a současný stav urovnání konfliktu. Dále v diplomové práci se charakterizuje změna ukrajinského postoje vůči podněsterské otázce během posledních dvaceti let tj. od vzniku konfliktu až po současnost. Je zjišťováno, zda angažovanost Ukrajiny v dané problematice je dostatečná a adekvátní vůči národním zájmům ukrajinského státu.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the issue of the Transnistrian conflict and Ukraine's role in the process of its solving. There are analysed mutual relations between Ukraine and Transnistria in historical perspective as well as causes and stages of the conflict and a current state of its settlement. Further the thesis characterizes the change of Ukraine's position towards the Transnistrian issue during the last twenty years i.e. from the formation of the conflict until the present. It is tried to find out if the involvement of Ukraine in this issue was sufficient and adequate in relation to Ukraine's national interests.
