Seniors' Motives for Work Activity

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce jsou motivy seniorů důchodového věku pro placenou pracovní činnost. Z psychologického pohledu na motivy, vztah člověka k práci, stárnutí a stáří a odchod do důchodu vychází motivy sociální a seberealizační. Doplňují je aspekty ekonomicko-politické, které ovlivňují zejména finanční situaci seniorů. Teoretickou část završují celorepublikové statistiky o počtu pracujících seniorů a závěry dvou již provedených výzkumů. V empirické části byl pomocí dotazníku proveden kvantitativní výzkum v Třinci. Výsledky ukázaly složení pracujících seniorů v souboru, sílu jejich jednotlivých motivů, ty byly seřazeny od nejdůležitějších po nejméně důležité a dále bylo statisticky ověřeno, které motivy jsou ovlivněny jakými faktory.

Abstract:

The subject of the bachelor thesis is retirement aged seniors´ motives for some gainful work activity. Social and self-realization motives are based on the psychological perspective of motives, man´s attitude to work, aging and the old age and retirement. They are supplemented by the political and economic aspects that influence particularly financial situation of senior citizens. The theoretical part is topped off with the national statistics on the number of working pensioners and by the findings of two already carried out researches. The empirical part deals with a quantitative research conducted in Třinec using the questionnaire. The results showed a structure of working seniors in a sample population, the intensity of their particular motives, which were ordered from the most important to the least important and then there was statistically verified which factors influence which motives.
