Úvod: Kvalita života jedince se zevním fixátorem je důležitým tématem v oblasti zdravotnické péče a rehabilitace. Zevní fixátor je medicínské zařízení používané k upevnění a stabilizaci kostí a kloubů. Jedná se o konstrukci, která se umisťuje na povrch těla a pomocí šroubů a drátů se připevňuje k postiženému místu. This Bachelor's work is dedicated to the quality of life of an individual with an outer fixation. It is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is concerns the anatomy of a bone, fracture and outer fixation. Explanation of the term quality of life, range of the quality of life and how is the quality of life measured.
