Cultural and Historical Significance of the Mighty Handful and its Legacy
Abstract:
Tématem této bakalářské práce je kulturně-historický význam hudebního uskupení pěti ruských skladatelů Mocná hrstka a jeho odkaz. V první části je rozebrán vývoj ruské hudby až k počátkům národní hudební školy. Druhá část se soustřeďuje na samotnou Mocnou hrstku, její jednotlivé členy a další generace skladatelů, kteří se jejich tvorbou inspirovali.
Abstract:
The theme of this bachelor thesis is the cultural and historical significance of five Russian composers the Mighty Handful and its legacy. The first part analyses the development of Russian music from the beginning of the national music school. The second part focuses on the Mighty Handful, its each members and the next generation of composers who had been inspired by their creation.
