Abstract:
In my MA thesis I analyze ways in which Virginia Woolf expresses the outer and the inner aspects of life in the novels Orlando: A Biography and The Years. Woolf wrote the novel The Years on the basis of an unpublished work which was first published in 1977 under the title The Pargiters: The Novel-Essay Portion of The Years.
