Pozice literatury v meziválečném časopise Eva

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je zmapovat pozici literatury v meziválečném časopise Eva, který je určen vzdělaným čtenářkám, samotný podnázev od 11. ročníku zní Časopis vzdělané ženy. Pomocí vymezených dílčích cílů se pokusíme zjistit kolik je v Evě literatury, jakou zde má literatura funkci, v jaké formě se literatura vyskytuje, jak vypadá a kdo ji píše. Bude nás zajímat, jestli byla literatura jako taková pro Evu důležitá, či byla jen prvkem, který v ní byl vedlejší. Krátce se budeme také věnovat literární publicistice, která je v Evě otiskována. Zkoumat budeme texty publikované v časopise Eva od roku 1928 až do roku 1938 tedy díly vycházející za první republiky a druhé republiky. Krátce zmíníme i konec druhé republiky a období protektorátu Čechy a Morava, kvůli doplnění dalšího vývoje tohoto časopisu, jelikož se v poválečné době mění. V teoretické části čtenáře za pomoci odborné (sekundární) literatury seznámíme s literaturou a publicistikou za první republiky, druhé republiky i protektorátu a také s tehdejším postavením žen ve společnosti, jelikož časopis Eva byl určen právě jim. V praktické části se už zaměříme na samotný časopis, který budeme analyzovat a následně interpretovat naše výsledky v souladu s cíli práce.

Abstract:

The main aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to map out the position of literature in the interwar period magazine Eva which is intended for educated female readers. the sub-title itself from the 11th year is the "Magazine for Educated Women." With the help of defined targets, we will try to find out how much literature is present in Eva, what its purpose is, what form it takes, who writes it and how it appears to the reader. We will explore whether literature as such was vital for Eva or if it was secondary. We will also focus on literary journalism, which is printed in Eva. We will analyse articles published in Eva magazine between 1928 and 1942, during the First Republic and Second Republic. We will also mention the end of the Second Republic and the period of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, in order to supplement the further development of this magazine, as it changes in the post-war period. In the theoretical part, we will introduce the readers to the literature and journalism of the First and Second Republics and Protectorate, with the help of academic (secondary) literature. We will also discuss women's roles in the era's society, as the magazine is aimed at them. In the practical part, we will analyse the magazine and summarise the findings in accordance with those of the dissertation.
