Eruption of Vesuv in literature
Abstract:
Bakalářsá práce se zabývá literárním zpracováním výbuchu Vesuvu, zaměřuje se především na výbuch z roku 79 n.l. Hlavní část je tvořená analýzou dvou historických románů, románu Pompeje od Roberta Harrise a románu Poslední dny Pompejí od Bulwera Lyttona.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with literary adaptions of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius , focusing mainly on a eruption from the year 79 AD The main part consists of analysis of two historical novels, novel Pompeii by Robert Harris and novel The Last Days of Pompeii of Bulwer Lytton .
