The image of devil in the italian literature of XXth and XXIst century
Abstract:
The thesis studies the devil as a character in the Italian literature of 20th and 21st century. Specifically focuses on writers like: Luigi Pirandello, Ugo Betti, Stefano Benni, Dario Fo, Andrea Camilleri, Silvestro Russo e Salvo Crimi, Matteo Tuveri and Giovanni Paratore. The thesis follows a development of the character and his new interpretations connected to his role in the story.
Abstract:
Diplomová práce sleduje postavu ďábla v italské literatuře 20. a 21. století. Konkrétně se zaměřuje na díla spisovatelů jako: Luigi Pirandello, Ugo Betti, Stefano Benni, Dario Fo, Andrea Camilleri, Silvestro Russo e Salvo Crimi, Matteo Tuveri e Giovanni Paratore. Práce pozoruje postupný vývoj této postavy a její nové interpretace spojené s její funkcí v díle.
