Gluten-free diet as part of nursing intervention

Abstract:

Úvod: Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku bezlepkového stravování a s tím spojené možné ošetřovatelské intervence. Zabývá se především dodržováním bezlepkové diety a upozorňuje na nejčastější dietní chyby způsobené nedostatkem informací o dopadu na zdraví při jejím nesprávném dodržování. Cíle: Cílem práce je identifikace specifických ošetřovatelských problémů u pacientů/klientů s bezlepkovou dietou a jejich analýza, zmapování podávaných informací při nastavování diety a po identifikaci vědomostních deficitů vypracování informačního materiálu. Metodika: Praktická část je zaměřena na kvalitativní šetření. Byly vypracovány tři kazuistiky klientů trpících celiakií za využití koncepčního ošetřovatelského modelu Marjory Gordon. Kazuistiky jsou doplněny o jídelníčky, které zahrnují 10 dní stravování respondentů a dotazníky hodnotící dodržování bezlepkové diety. Výsledky: Na základě získaných informací jsou identifikovány specifické problémy klientů a stanoveny vědomostní deficity, podle kterých je vypracován edukační plán.

Abstract:

Introduction: The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of gluten-free diet and related possible nursing interventions. It deals with the observance of a gluten-free diet and draws attention to the most common dietary mistakes caused by the lack of information on the impact on health in the event of incorrect adherence. Aims: The aim of the work is to identify specific nursing problems of patients / clients with a gluten-free diet and their analysis, mapping the information provided when setting a diet and after identifying knowledge deficiency to create informational material. Methodology: The practical part is focused on qualitative research. Three case reports of clients suffering from celiac disease were prepared using the conceptual nursing model of Marjory Gordon. The case reports are supplemented by menus that include 10 days of respondents' meals and questionnaires evaluating adherence to a gluten-free diet. Results: Based on the information obtained, specific problems of clients are identified and knowledge deficits are determined. According to knowledge deficits is created an educational plan.
