Analysis of Fidelio Property Management System

Abstract:

VALENTOVÁ, Katarína. Analysis of Fidelio Property Management System. [Bachelor thesis] The Institute of Hospitality and Management in Prague. Prague: 2017. Total number of pages: 58 Aim of the thesis is to analyse the Fidelio property management system and connected systems as well as to suggest solutions for improving its functionality. Study is done based on analysis of the basic functions of the Fidelio property management system (PMS) and connected systems. Functioning of connected systems is shown on determining prices to the extranets and reservation process in two hotels in Prague. Moreover, statistic data about the usage of system in Prague and Czech Republic is a significant part of the analysis in order to show how many properties operate their business with Fidelio PMS. Further research involves questionnaire whose main purpose is to gain relevant opinions directly from the users of the system. In conclusion, shortcomings of the system are summed up in order to present suggestions for improving the system.
