Abstract:
ZigBee protocol, which is built on top of the IEEE 802.15.4 protocol, is one of the most used protocols in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) due to its appropriateness in such networks. Its main features include low bandwidth, low power consumption, high level of security, and low cost. This protocol supports star, tree, cluster tree and mesh topologies.
