Cílem této bakalářské práce je rozbor kompetencí a úkolů veřejné správy na městské úrovni v oblasti dopravy. Práce se bude týkat činnosti Magistrátu města Ústí nad Labem na odboru dopravy na oddělení registru vozidel. Autorka textu popisuje nejčastější žádosti na tomto úseku a průběh správního řízení.
