Utilization of the tool „water table“ to stimulate the speech development of preschool children

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá možnostmi využití pomůcky „water table“ k podpoře rozvoje řeči u dětí předškolního věku. Práce se skládá z části teoretické a části empirické. Část teoretická je rozdělena do dvou kapitol. V první kapitole je popsán vývoj řeči, jazykové roviny v ontogenezi řeči a podmínky správného řečového vývoje. Druhá kapitola popisuje možnosti rozvoje komunikačních schopností u dětí předškolního věku. Zabývá se rozvojem zrakové a sluchové percepce, motorických schopností a dovedností; uvádí dechová, fonační a artikulační cvičení a také popisuje rozvoj jednotlivých jazykových rovin. V empirické části bakalářské práce je popsáno výzkumné šetření, jehož cílem bylo ověření možností využití pomůcky „water table“ k podpoře rozvoje řeči u dětí předškolního věku. Součástí je i detailní popis možných aktivit s touto pomůckou, která podporují rozvoj řeči. Ve výzkumném šetření byla použita kvalitativní výzkumná metoda. V závěru bakalářské práce jsou uvedeny výsledky výzkumného šetření a návrhy pro pedagogickou praxi.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of utilization of the tool „water table“ to stimulate speech development in preschool children. The bachelor thesis consists of theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part is devided into two chapters. The first chapter deals with the speech development, levels of speech in the ontogeny and also with conditions for the proper speech development. The second chapter describes possibilities how to stimulate communication skills in preschool children. It is focused on the development of the visual, auditory perception and motor skills; it shows breathing, phonatory, and articulatory exercises and it also describes the development of the levels of speech. In the empirical part of the bachelor thesis the research work is described. The research objective was to test the possibilities of utilizing the „water table“ tool to stimulate the speech development in preschool children. In the empirical part there is also the detailed description of activities with this tool for the stimulation of speech development. The research project is based on the qualitative research method. At the end of the thesis the results of the research project and some proposals for pedagogical practice are mentioned.
