Progenitor cells in odontogenesis
Abstract:
Zub vzniká složitou interakcí mezi ektodermem a okolním mezenchymem. Prenatální i postnatální vývoj zubu je kontrolován progenitorovými buňkami, které jsou ektodermového nebo mezenchymového původu a jsou umístěny v různých dentálních tkáních. Cílem práce je shrnout poznatky o zubních progenitorových buňkách a molekulární charakteristice těchto buněk.
Abstract:
Tooth development is a complex process where ectoderm interacts with surrounding mesenchyme. The prenatal and postnatal tooth development is driven by progenitor cells located in different dental tissue compartments and originating from mesenchyme or ectoderm.The main aim of this thesis is to summarize current knowledge and molecular characteristics of dental progenitor cells.
