Work satisfaction of employees of Data Protection department at the company SAP Services

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je pracovní spokojenost zaměstnanců. Hlavním cíle práce je analýza spokojenosti zaměstnanců oddělení Data Protection ve společnosti SAP Services se zaměřením na studenty pracující na částečný úvazek. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením pojmu pracovní spokojenosti a faktory, které ji ovlivňují a také vztahu mezi pracovní spokojenosti a motivací. Součásti teoretické části je mimo jiné popis studentů na trhu práce. V praktické části je uveden popis vybrané firmy a oddělení a následně analýza spokojenosti pracovníků, která byla provedena pomocí dotazníků a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Výsledky analýzy ukázaly, že největší vliv na nespokojenost zaměstnanců má nízká zpětná vazba od vedoucího pracovníka a nezájem o své podřízené, neinformovanost, pracovní naplň a budoucí příležitosti. Hlavním přínosem práce je odhalení příčin nespokojenosti a uvedené doporučení na zvýšení spokojenosti v oddělení.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is employee satisfaction. The main objective of the thesis is to analyze satisfaction of employees of Data Protection department of the company SAP Services with a focus on students. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the concept of work satisfaction and the factors influencing it, as well as the relationship of work satisfaction and motivation. The theoretical part also includes the description of students in the labor market. In the practical part the description of the selected company and the department is presented and then the satisfaction of the employees is analyzed by means of data collection both the questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. The results of the analysis showed that the employee dissatisfaction is mainly influenced by the interest and feedback from the manager, lack of information, work fulfillment, future opportunities and salary. The main benefit of the work is the discovery of the causes of dissatisfaction and the recommendations how to increase satisfaction in the department.
