Conception of Ecology, Nature and relation to living environment between generation of students and teachers in Gymnasium Nymburk

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá, jak už sám název vypovídá, pojetím a vnímáním přírody, ekologie a vztahu k životnímu prostředí. Jelikož je to široké téma, bude se tato práce snažit obsáhnout jak jeho základy, problémy, terminologii atd., tak i konkrétní pojetí přírody, ekologie a vztahu k životnímu prostředí mezi generací studentů a profesorů na Gymnáziu v Nymburce, poněvadž je vztah člověka k přírodě v dnešní době možná jedním z nejdůležitějších problémů pobývání lidstva na Zemi. Začátek práce je věnován pojetí planety Země a seznámení s jejími základními charakteristikami, které ji dělají obyvatelnou pro život. Život, příroda, jejich rozmanitost a problémy, kterým jsou ze stran lidstva vystaveny, jsou náplní první kapitoly, pročež jim bude věnována náležitá pozornost. Druhá kapitola se zabývá vztahem člověka k Zemi, k přírodě, jeho závislostí na celé této planetě a způsoby, jakými se snaží si ji podmanit. Rovněž zahrnuje téma velikosti lidské populace a možným rozdílům mezi přírodou a tzv. životním prostředím. Následující kapitola pak představuje pojetí a definice environmentalistiky a ekologie, načež pojednává o různých přístupech v oblasti environmentální etiky a zamýšlí se nad globální povahou světa a udržitelným rozvojem. Další části této práce pak zahrnují smysl či význam ochrany přírody, stav a způsoby ohrožování životního prostředí jak ve světě, tak i u nás. Následně se zaměřuje na nymburský region a Gymnázium Nymburk, ve kterém proběhl výzkum mezi studenty a profesory. Závěr práce se věnuje výsledkům provedeného výzkumu, v příloze se potom nachází verze dotazníků.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the conception and perception of nature, ecology and relation to the environment, as the title suggest. As it is a wide topic, this work endeavours comprehend both its principles, problems, terminology etc. and the concrete conception of nature, ecology and relation to the environment between the generation of students and teachers at Gymnasium Nymburk, because human relation to the nature may be one of the most important contemporary problems of humankind existence on the Earth. The beginning of this work is devoted to the conception of the Earth and to familiarization with her basic characteristics, which make her habitable for life. Life, nature, their diversity and problems, that are exposed to from the side of humankind, it is the content of the first chapter, therefore proper attention is devoted to them. The second chapter dwells on human?s relation to the Earth and nature, on human dependence on the whole planet and ways by means of which a man tries to subjugate the planet. It also takes in the topic of human population quantity and possible difference between nature and so called environment. The following chapter presents the conception and definition of environmentalistics and ecology, whereto deals with different approaches in the field of environmental ethics and comes to think of global nature of the world and sustainable development. Next parts of this thesis include the meaning or sense of the protection of nature, disposition and ways of threatening the environment both in the world and in our country. It subsequently focuses on the region Nymburk and Gymnasium Nymburk where the research among students and teachers was carried out. The conclusion of this work is devoted to the results of the research. In the suplement, both versions of the questionaire are shown.
