Liebhaber und Nebenbuhler in einer Person on the stage of Litomysl

Abstract:

V 17. a 18. století byla v Čechách velmi hojně zřizována zámecká divadla. Mezi nejznámější u nás patří divadlo v Českém Krumlově a v Litomyšli. Litomyšlské zámecké divadlo bylo otevřeno v roce 1798, od tohoto roku se zde objevovaly oblíbené vídeňské frašky. Tyto hry Valdštejnové – Vartenberkové sami nazkoušeli a hráli až do poloviny 19. století. Bakalářská práce se nejprve věnuje historii této scény, později se soustředí na uvedení veselohry Friedricha Wilhelma Zieglera Milenec a sok v jedné osobě (Liebhaber und Nebenbuhler in einer Person), kterou bylo divadélko otevřeno. V druhé půli práce se náš zájem koncentruje na rok 1998, kdy byla k výročí založení zámeckého divadla uvedena tatáž hra. Hru nastudovali členové zámeckého divadelního spolku Milislav pod vedením režisérky Ireny Truhlářové. Ve své práci jsem se pokusila popsat vývoj, jakým inscenace Milence a soka v jedné osobě prošla. Dále se pokouší analyzovat její výsledný tvar a zhodnotit její význam vzhledem k moderním dějinám tohoto divadla.

Abstract:

During the 17th and 18th century, many castle and chateau theatres were founded in the Czech lands. The best known of these that exist until today are in Český Krumlov castle and Litomyšl chateau. Litomyšl chateau theatre was opened in 1798, and starting in this year many popular Viennese farces appeared on its stage. These plays were rehearsed and acted by the local noble family of Valdštejn – Vartenberk themselves up until mid 19th century. This thesis first focuses on the history of the chateau theatre stage. Next the emphasis moves to the staging of Friedrich Wilhelm Ziegler’s comedy Liebhaber und Nebenbuhler in einer Person, which was the first play staged in this theatre. The second part of the thesis focuses on the 200th anniversary of the opening of the theatre in 1998, when the same play was staged again. The chateau theatre group Milislav, under the supervision of Irena Truhlářová (stage manager), rehearsed and staged it. This thesis predominantly focuses on describing the development that the staging of Liebhaber und Nebenbuhler in einer Person went through. It attempts to analyse its final form and evaluate this play’s significance for the modern history of this chateau theatre.
