Centralized Management of CCTV and Sensors in the Home

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na návrh kamerové části kamerového systému pro domácnost, kde záznamové zařízení neumožňuje zaznamenávat více IP kamer založených na standardu ONVIF než záznamové zařízení dovoluje. Cílem této práce je odstranění omezení počtu možných připojených kamer k záznamovému zařízení s možností připojení vlastních kamer k stávajícímu kamerovému systému bez nutnosti výměny stávajících zařízení kamerového systému. V práci je zahrnut návrh a konstrukce softwaru a hardwaru pro jednotlivé části navrženého systému potřebné pro propojení a umožnění správného provozu kamer. Centrálním prvkem je řídicí jednotka, ve které probíhá logika získávání snímků z jednotlivých kamer a obsluhy pro zařízení vyžadující dané snímky. Součástí realizace jsou i koncové jednotky fungující jako rozšiřující periferie pro jednotlivé kamery. Poslední částí je kamera podle vlastní implementace a požadavků.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis focuses on the design of the camera part of the CCTV for household, where the recording device does not allow to record more ONVIF based IP cameras than the recording device allows. The Goal of this thesis is to remove the limitation of possible connected cameras to the recording device with the possibility of connecting custom made cameras to the existing camera system without the need to replace existing camera system devices. This work includes design and construction of software and hardware for individual parts of camera system needed for interconnection and enabling correct camera operation. The central element is the control unit that contains logic of getting images from individual cameras and subsequently serves them to the device that requires the images. Part of the realization also includes end unit acting as expansion peripheral for individual cameras. The last part is implementation of custom made camera according to requirements.
