Základním cílem této práce je zjistit, které z průvodních jevů konfliktu měly největší dopad na mezinárodní obchod třech uvažovaných států - Senegalu, Sierra Leone a Guineji. V první části práce je teoreticky rozpracován průběh konfliktu, jednotlivé veličiny používané v textu a vývoj mezinárodního obchodu spolu s uvažovaným ekonometrickým modelem využitým pro zhodnocení nasbíraných dat.
