Novel photochromic spiropyran dyes

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá syntézou a charakteristikou nových fotochromních spiropyranových barviv. Teoretická část se zabývá obecným popisem, vlastnostmi a trendy v použití spiropyranových barviv. Experimentální část popisuje syntézu série spiropyranových barviv, některé z nich nejsou popsány v literatuře. Struktury připravených sloučenin byly potvrzeny 1H NMR, MALDI-MS spektrometrií a elementární analýzou. U všech připravených sloučeniny byla naměřena absorpční spektra; u látky vykazující fluorescenci byla naměřena i fluorescenční spektra. Zároveň byla zkoumána fotochromní přeměna některých připravených spiropyranů na merocyaniny fotochemickou reakcí a zpětný vznik spiropyranové formy termickou reakcí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the synthesis and characterization of new spiropyran photochromic dyes. The theoretical part deals with the general description, characteristics and trends in the use of spiropyran dyes. The experimental part describes the synthesis of a series of spiropyran dyes, some of which are described in the literature. The structures of the prepared compounds were confirmed by 1H NMR, MALDI-MS spectroscopy and elemental analysis. For all prepared compounds the absorption spectra were measured; for the compounds exhibiting fluorescence the fluorescence spectra were measured. The photochemical and thermal spiropyran-merocyanine interconversion was investigated.
