Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá restaurováním oltářního obrazu sv. Jana Nepomuckého z kostela sv. Jana Křtitele v Radomyšli. Během restaurování obrazu byla nalezena signatura rokokového malíře Františka Julia Luxe. Na základě tohoto objevu byly další tři oltářní obrazy, pocházející ze stejného kostela, navzájem posuzovány z hlediska výtvarného a technologického zpracování s dílem se signaturou. Vzájemné porovnání obrazů pomohlo potvrdit, že se jedná o stejného autora, a tak určit i jejich přibližnou dataci. Jednalo se konkrétně o díla Sv. Barbora, Kalvárie a Odpočinek na cestě do Egypta. Na tuto část navazuje umělecko-historický průzkum zmíněných oltářních obrazů, které mají návaznost na vznik kostela a případnou souvislost s řádem Maltézských rytířů, tehdejších vlastníků fary. V závěru práce je popsáno působení a tvorba malíře Františka Julia Luxe a technicko-výtvarné srovnání jeho autorských děl s obrazy nalezenými v Radomyšli.

Abstract:

This dissertation deals with the restoration of the altarpiece of St. John of Nepomuk of the church St. John the Baptist in Radomyšl. A signature of a rococo painter Fratišek Julia Luxe was discovered during the restoration of that altarpiece. In the same church, there were other three altarpieces, but without a signature. These altarpieces were assessed in terms of art and technological processing with the painting with signature. Comparison of these images has helped to confirm that all altarpieces have the same author, and it has determined their approximate dating. It was specifically the painting of St. Barbora, Calvary and The rest on the way to Egypt. This part is followed by an art-historical survey of these altarpieces, which relate to the establishment of the church. Also, there is a possible connection with the Order of the Knights of Malta, the previous owners of the vicarage. At the end of the thesis, there is a technical and artistic comparison of paintings which was found in Radomyšl with a work of František Julius Lux.
