Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá motivy v české próze 19. století. Cílem práce je zachytit obraz Španělska a motivů spojených s ním, který by reflektoval způsob ujímání cizorodého prvku v době národního obrození a romantismu a zároveň reflektoval zobrazování exotických motivů v pracích tzv. ruchovsko-lumírovské generace.
