Tato práce se věnuje překladu absurdního dramatu v první celovečerní hře Václava Havla Zahradní slavnost (1963). Zkoumá překladatelská řešení dvou překladatelů, Věry Blackwellové v jejím překladu Garden party (1969) a Jana Nováka v jeho adaptaci Office party (2006). This Thesis examines the translation of the Theatre of the Absurd in Václav Havel's Garden Party (1963). It explores the translation solutions of two translators, Věra Blackwell in her translation Garden Party (1969) and Jan Novák in his adaptation Office Party (2006).
