The method of active listening in working with pupils with special needs

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce s názvem Metoda aktivního naslouchání při práci se žáky se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami je zaměřena na rozhovory mezi žáky a učiteli 1. stupně ZŠ v Budyni nad Ohří, vedené s použitím vybraných technik aktivního naslouchání. V teoretické části jsme se zaměřili na teoretické ukotvení pojmů komunikace, pedagogická komunikace, rozhovor, naslouchání a specifické vzdělávací potřeby. Praktická část popisuje výzkumný projekt pojatý jako případovou studii, která je zaměřena na žáky se speciálně vzdělávacími potřebami na prvním stupni základní školy v Budyni nad Ohří. Nejprve naše pozornost směřovala na zkoumaný jev aktivního naslouchání, následovalo zkoumání jednotlivých případů a pochopení uvedených teoretických východisek. Cílem bylo zjistit na základě analýzy různých modelových mikrosituací a rozhovorů s pedagogy jejich pohled na možnosti využití technik aktivního naslouchání v každodenní pedagogické praxi. V závěru jsme formulovali několik doporučení pedagogům a managementu školy, pro efektivní využívání technik aktivního naslouchání, které napomáhají při vypjatých situacích a při řešení konfliktů dětí se speciálně vzdělávacími potřebami.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis with the name Method of Active Listening when Working with Pupils with Special Educational Needs is focused on interviews between pupils and teachers of the elementary school in Budyně nad Ohří, held with the use of selected methods of active listening. The theoretical part concentrates on the theoretical definitions of the terms communication, pedagogical communication, interview, listening, and special educational needs. The practical part describes the research project approached as a case study which is focused on pupils with special educational needs in the elementary school in Budyně nad Ohří. Initially we turned our attention to the studied phenomenon of active listening, followed by examination of individual cases and understanding the mentioned theoretical solutions. The goal was to find out about the teachers' view on the opportunities of using the active listening techniques in the daily educational practice, based on the analysis of various model microsituations and interviews with the teachers. In the conclusion we formulated several recommendations to the teachers and the school management for effective use of the active listening techniques which help in tense situations and in solutions to conflicts of children with special educational needs.
