Determination of water erosion threat in the cadastral area of Viničné Šumice

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zjištěním průměrné dlouhodobé ztráty půdy vodní erozí v katastrálním území Viničné Šumice pomocí Univerzální rovnice ztráty půdy (USLE). Ztráta půdy je zjišťována jak pro současný stav, tak i pro stav po návrhu protierozních opatření. Vyhodnocení rizika vodní eroze v území je řešeno prostřednictvím programů ArcGIS, LS Converter a USLE2D. Výsledky jsou prezentovány formou mapových výstupů a tabulek popisujících jednotlivé zkoumané plochy či celkové procentuální zastoupení navržených opatření. Před návrhem protierozních opatření přesahovalo přípustnou ztrátu půdy vodní erozí 4 t·ha-1·rok-1 až 70 % výměry sledovaných ploch. Z protierozních opatření byla navržena tato: ochranné zatravnění, protierozní osevní postupy, ochranné obdělávání, vrstevnicové obdělávání a také byla vymezena plocha pro prvek přerušující délku svahu (polní cesta s příkopem). Navržením protierozních opatření se podařilo snížit průměrnou ztrátu půdy pod limit 4 t·ha-1·rok-1.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the determination of the average long-term soil loss by water erosion in the cadastral area of Viničné Šumice using the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE). Soil loss is determined both for the current state and for the state after the design of erosion control measures. The assessment of the risk of water erosion in the area is solved by using programs such as ArcGIS, LS Converter and USLE2D. The results are presented in the form of map and table outputs describing the individual observed areas or the total percentage of designed erosion control measures. Almost 70 % soil of the monitored area exceeded the permissible soil loss by water erosion, which is 4 t·ha-1 per year, before the design of erosion control measures. These erosion control measures were designed: protective grassing, erosion control crop rotation, conservation tillage, contour cultivation and also the area for the element interrupting the length of the slope (rural path with the ditch). The average soil loss was reduced under the limit of 4 t·ha-1 per year after the design of erosion control measures.
