Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na analýzu pojetí feminity a maskulinity ve dvou vybraných dílech moderní české literatury – v Teorii podivnosti Pavly Horákové a v Možnostech milostného románu Jana Němce. Teoretické východisko tvoří principy a historie feministické literární teorie ve světě i na českém území a koncepce genderových stereotypů. Těžištěm práce je praktická část, v níž analyzujeme jednotlivé ženské i mužské postavy a sledujeme, jestli a případně jak v těchto dílech figurují genderové stereotypy a jak je v nich konstruována maskulinita a feminita. Posledním článkem naší práce je část didaktická, která navrhuje modelovou hodinu na téma genderových stereotypů pro středoškolskou praxi literární výchovy. Cílem práce je zmíněné sledování konstrukce maskulinity a feminity a snaha vyvrátit vnímání těchto dvou pojmů jako neslučitelných protipólů.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of femininity and masculinity in two chosen works of modern Czech literature – Teorie podivnosti by Pavla Horáková and Možnosti milostného románu by Jan Němec. The theoretic part of the thesis contains principles and history of feminist literary criticism on the world and also on Czech territory and conceptual apparatus. The center of this thesis is formed by the practical part where we analyze female and male characters and follow up if and eventually how does gender stereotypes work and how femininity and masculinity are formed in these books. The last part of this thesis is didactic and contains model lessons for high school lessons of literature. The topic of this lesson is gender stereotypes. This thesis aims to observe the construction of femininity and masculinity and to prove that these two concepts are not standing in binary opposition.
