Ušní známky jsou nezbytnou součástí chovu dobytka téměř po celém světě. Jde o invazivní a trvalé označení zvířat pro účely jejich identifikace. Ušní známky lze však využít i pro jiné účely, a sice sledování polohy, chování a fyziologických funkcí zvířete. Ear tags are an essential part of livestock breeding almost all around the world. It is an intrusive and permanent labeling of animals with the purpose of their identification.
