Abstract:
This BA thesis aims to prove that Eugene O’Neill’s early plays, Beyond the Horizon and “Anna Christie”, represent the beginning of a modernist era in American theatre. The goal is to examine Eugene O'Neill's techniques that contributed to the advancement of the discourse of American theatre.
