Analysis of the Competitiveness of the Company KIPA, s.r.o.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá analýzou konkurencieschopnosti spoločnosti KIPA, s.r.o.. Hlavným problémom, ktorý práca rieši je analyzovanie konkurencieschopnosti a postavenia firmy na trhu, voči vybraným konkurentom. Cieľom práce bolo zistiť ako sa firme darí v súčasnom období, či má nejakú konkurenčnú výhodu a aká je jej schopnosť bojovať s konkurenciou. Teoretické poznatky týkajúce sa témy boli získané prostredníctvom rešerše odborných literárnych prameňov. V rámci riešenia problému bola použitá SWOT analýza, ďalším postupom bolo spracovanie Porterovho modelu piatich konkurenčných síl. Nakoniec bola spracovaná viackriteriálna analýza, ktorá hodnotila vybranú firmu a jej konkurentov prostredníctvom niekoľkých zvolených kritérií. Vďaka analýze boli zistené určité nedostatky spoločnosti v boji s konkurenciu a boli navrhnuté opatrenia, ktoré môžu pomôcť zvýšiť konkurencieschopnosť firmy čo povedie k zvýšeniu záujmu zo strany zákazníkov.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with an analysis of the competitiveness of the company KIPA, s.r.o.. The main issue which the work is dealing with is the analysis of the competitiveness and a position of the company on the marketplace in relation to the selected competitors. The aim was to find out how the firm is doing in the current period, if it has some competitive advantages and what is its ability to fight with the competition. Theoretic knowledge of the topic was obtained through the research of professional literary sources. Within the framework of solving the problem, the SWOT analysis was used, another step was making of the Porter's model of five competitive forces. Finally, the multicriterial analysis, which evaluated the selected company and its competitors through a number of selected criteria, was used. Thanks to the analysis, certain weaknesses of the company in the struggle with the competition have been identified and some measures that could help to increase the competitiveness of the company, which would lead to the growth of the interest of customers, were proposed.
