Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je porovnat investování do korporátních dluhopisů a akcií. Identifikovat klady a zápory, výhody a nevýhody, a jak správně do těchto investičních nástrojů investovat. Výkonnost jednotlivých investičních nástrojů je porovnávána na 10letém horizontu v letech 2011–2021. Rešeršní část je zaměřená na teoretické poznatky z oblasti investování do dluhopisů a akcií. Je popsána teorie a historie investic, faktory ovlivňující výběr cenného papíru a důvody investování. Následně jsou charakterizovány jednotlivé cenné papíry, co ovlivňuje jejich cenu, jejich výhody a nevýhody. V praktické části je rozebírán konkrétní případ investování peněz do akcií a dluhopisů. Data byla čerpána z webové stránky Kurzy.cz, kde byly konkrétně sledovány hodnoty akcií ČEZ, Philip Morris ČR, O2, ERSTE a TOMA. U akcií je vzájemně porovnána jednorázová a pravidelná investice, je sestaven graf vývoje akcie, kde je zobrazena spojnice trendu určující trend vývoje. Dále je pro porovnání akcií použita indexní analýza, na základě, které je vypočítáno průměrné tempo a koeficient růstu. Dluhopis je srovnáván na základě výnosu a kovenantů. Z výsledku porovnání jednotlivých druhů investic vyplývá, že pro agresivního investora preferujícího výnos se nejvhodněji jevila jednorázová investice do akcií ERSTE group, která vykazovala rostoucí trend. Investice si připsala nejvyšší zhodnocení ze sledovaných investičních instrumentů, a to 255,23 %. Investice do akcií ERSTE group s sebou však nese vysokou míru rizika špatného načasování investice, které ukazuje pesimistická varianta jednorázové investice. Pro investora preferujícího výnos s přiměřenou mírou rizika se vhodně jevila investice do akcií Philip Morris ČR. Investice zaznamenala stabilnější vývoj a díky svým vysokým dividendám si investice připsala celkový výnos 108,24 %. Pro investora, který preferuje nižší míru rizika by byla na základě porovnání doporučena pravidelná investice do akcií, jelikož i na trhu s klesajícím trendem si pravidelná investice připsala malé zhodnocení. Dochází k tomu díky průměrování nákladů. Popřípadě by byla doporučena investice do dluhopisu ČSNF 6,8, která se díky kovenantům ukazuje jako téměř bez riziková investice. Z výsledků porovnání se nejhůře ukazovala jednorázová investice do akcií O2, která jako jediná, měla klesající trend a dluhopis Saunia, který měl sice zajímavé zhodnocení, ale investice do tohoto dluhopisu by byla vzhledem k ekonomické situaci společnosti Saunia, s. r. o. velice riziková.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare investing in corporate bonds and stocks. Identify the pros and cons, advantages and disadvantages, and how to properly invest in these investment instruments. The performance of individual investment instruments is compared over a 10-year horizon in 2011–2021. The research part is focused on theoretical knowledge in the field of investing in bonds and stocks. The theory and history of investments, factors influencing the choice of security and reasons for investing are described. Subsequently, individual securities are characterized, which affects their price, their advantages and disadvantages. The practical part discusses the specific case of investing money in stocks and bonds. The data were drawn from the Kurzy.cz website, where the values of ČEZ, Philip Morris ČR, O2, ERSTE and TOMA shares were specifically monitored. For stocks, one-time and regular investments are compared, a chart of stock development is compiled, which shows a trend line determining the development trend. Furthermore, index analysis is used to compare stocks, based on which the average rate and growth rate are calculated. The bond is compared on the basis of yield and covenants. The result of the comparison of individual types of investments shows that for an aggressive investor who prefers a return, a one-time investment in ERSTE group shares, which showed an increasing trend, seemed the most suitable. The investment recorded the highest appreciation of the monitored investment instruments, namely 255.23%. However, investing in ERSTE group shares carries a high degree of risk of poor investment timing, as shown by the pessimistic one-time investment option. For an investor who prefers a return with a reasonable degree of risk, the investment in Philip Morris CR shares seemed appropriate. The investment recorded a more stable development and thanks to its high dividends, the investment recorded a total return of 108.24%. For an investor who prefers a lower level of risk, regular equity investments would be recommended based on the comparison, as even in a declining market, regular investments have gained some value. This is due to cost averaging. Alternatively, an investment in a ČSNF 6.8 bond would be recommended, which, thanks to the covenants, proves to be almost risk-free. The result of the comparison showed that the worst investment is in O2 shares, which as only one had a declining trend and the Saunia bond, which had an interesting yield, but investing in this bond would be very risky, considering the economic situation of Saunia s. r. o.
