Directing acting interpretation of the characters in the dramatization

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá pojmem dramatizace, jeho specifiky a principy. Na příkladech z vlastní praxe rozvádí možnosti dramatizace a dramatické situace. Zabývá se předpoklady dramatičnosti v literární látce. Později se práce zaměřuje na interpretaci postav z pohledu herce a režiséra. Hledá kořeny interpretační práce, její různé způsoby. Poukazuje na důležitost přípravy na roli a nalezení osobního tématu. Pojmenovává úlohu režiséra při herecké práci na postavě a způsoby, jakými režisér pracuje a artikuluje téma inscenace. Zabývá se výběrem textu, prací s textem, režijní dramatizací a adaptací.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with concept of dramatization, it’s specifics and principles. On the basis of examples from own practice, elaborates the possibilities of dramatization and dramatic situation. Deals with assumptions of the drama in literature. Later, this thesis focuses on the character interpretation from actor‘s and director‘s point of view. It is looking for the roots of the interpretation work, and its ways. Thesis points out the importance of preparation for the role and looking for personal theme. It discusses role of the director in actor’s work on character and possible ways director can use to articulate the theme of the production. It deals with text selection, working with text, director’s dramatization and adaptation.
