The consequences of experimental substance abuse in adolescence

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměří na první zkušenosti s legálními i nelegálními návykovými látkami mezi dospívajícími jedinci. Konkrétně si bude všímat sociálního a sociologického vlivu vedoucího k tomuto experimentálnímu chování. Následně se zaměří na dopady tohoto chování, a to jak na zdraví jedinců, tak na jejich zmíněný sociální a sociologický kontext a i na porušování právních norem. Obsah bakalářské práce bude vycházet z vývoje a stavu drogové scény v České republice, ze změn pohledů dospívajících jedinců na návykové látky a ze změn jejich dostupnosti po roce 1989. Teoretická část bude ukončena kapitolou zaměřující se na příčiny a dopady experimentálního užívání návykových látek. V rámci praktické části bude realizováno výzkumné šetření, které bude zaměřeno na mladistvé jedince ve věku mezi patnácti a osmnácti lety a bude se týkat experimentálního užívání návykových látek. Prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření bude odpovídáno na předem stanovené výzkumné otázky. Výsledky šetření komplexně shrnou zásadní informace týkající řešené problematiky s komparací dat sledovaných skupin mladistvých jedinců z různých středních škol. Vše bude utříděno a pro přehlednost doplněno o grafy. V závěru bude bakalářská práce obsahovat zhodnocení jak teoretické, tak praktické části, vyjádření k naplnění cílů a budou předloženy možné způsoby řešení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the first experiences with both legal and illegal addictive substances among adolescents. Specifically, it will observe the social and sociological influences leading to this experimental behaviour. It will then address the impact of this behaviour, both on the health of the individuals and on their social and sociological context, as well as on the violation of legal norms. The content of the bachelor thesis will be based on the development and state of the drug scene in the Czech Republic, changes in the views of adolescents on addictive substances and changes in the availability of these substances after 1989. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis will end with a chapter focusing on the reasons and consequences of experimental substance abuse. The thesis includes a research investigation that will target adolescents between the ages of fifteen and eighteen year old ones. The predetermined research questions will be answered through the questionnaire survey. The results of the research will comprehensively summarize the essential information relevant to the issue at hand, with a comparison of data from the groups of adolescents from different secondary schools. Everything will be sorted and supplemented with graphs for clarity. The bachelor's thesis will include an evaluation of both the theoretical and practical parts, a statement on the fulfilment of the objectives and possible solutions will be presented.
