The usage of the programme GeoGebra in selected parts of mathematics and its advantages

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím počítačových technologií ve výuce geometrie na základních a středních školách. Konkrétně jsem pracovala na konstrukcích trojúhelníků pomocí programu GeoGebra. Tento program jsem si vybrala proto, že se jedná o bezplatný výukový software. Hlavním cílem této práce je ukázat, jak snadné je používat GeoGebru jako didaktickou pomůckou pro výuku matematiky. GeoGebra je také nástrojem, který otevírá nové možnosti pro výuku elementární geometrie. Díky GeoGebře jsou žáci více motivováni a hodina matematika se zefektivní. Počítač také pomáhá žákům rozvíjet jejich geometrickou představivost a abstraktní myšlení. V hlavní části práce uvádím příklady, které jsou napsány krok za krokem a podrobně popsány. Tyto příklady byly vybrány z učebnic matematiky pro základní a střední školy.

Abstract:

My Bachelor thesis deals with the usage of computer technologies for teaching Geometry at primary and secondary schools. I worked on the creation of triangles by using the programme GeoGebra. I chose GeoGebra because it is free educational software. This book introduces the dynamic geometry software to the readers but the aim of this thesis is to show how easy it is to use GeoGebra as a didactic tool for teaching Mathematics. GeoGebra is also a tool which has opened new possibilities for teaching the elementary geometry. The pupils are more motivated by this approach and therefore mathematics lessons become more effective. The computer also helps to improve students? geometric imagination and abstract thinking. In the main part of the thesis there are examples that are written step by step and described in detail. These examples were selected from mathematics textbooks for primary and secondary schools.
