Antimonopoly policy and regulation of network industries

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Antimonopolní politika a regulace síťových odvětví“ je analýza současné evropské energetické politiky, její vliv na vztahy s dodavateli zemního plynu z pohledu ekonomie a posouzení, zda je z hlediska bezpečnosti dodávek vhodnější liberalizace nebo monopolizace evropského trhu s plynem. Práce se také zabývá vlivem energetické politiky EU na spotřebitele. První část práce je zaměřena na ekonomickou teorii relevantní k procesu liberalizace. V druhé části jsou zpracovány informace týkající se evropské energetické politiky. V třetí části jsou informace z obou předchozích částí srovnávány.

Abstract:

The object of the thesis „Antimonopoly policy and regulation of network industries“ is to analyze the current European energy policy, its impact on relationships with suppliers of natural gas from the perspective of economics, and assessment whether, in terms of security of gas supply, monopolization or liberalization of European gas market is better. This work also examines the influence of energy policy of EU to the consumer. The first part focuses on the economic theory relevant to the process of liberalization. The second part consists of information on the European energy policy. The information from both previous parts are compared in the third part.
