Cílem této práce je analýza a srovnání vypodobňování paranormálních jevů v původních řadách seriálu městečko Twin Peaks a jejich pokračování z roku 2017. Práce se zabývá základními koncepty filmové teorie a komparativní analýzou, zkoumající způsoby, jakými se dá v prostředí tvorby seriálu vytvořit mystická atmosféra bez využívání zastaralých metod. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and compare the portrayal of the paranormal in the television show Twin Peaks and its 2017 continuation. The work touches upon basic concepts of film theory and comparative analysis scrutinizing the possibilities of creating an atmosphere of the paranormal without relying on the stereotypical methods often employed in the industry.
