The bachelor's thesis examines the theme of the English suffix -ing and its role in contemporary French. Bakalářská práce zpracovává téma anglického sufixu -ing a jeho úlohu v současné francouzštině. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části, teoretickou, zabývající se vymezením problematiky spojené s tímto jevem, a praktickou, která se zaměřuje na sestavení glosáře výrazů obsahujících sufix -ing,jenž vychází z rešerše v databázi Frantext.
