Abstract:

Tato absolventská práce se zabývá mentálním postižením a sociálními dopady tohoto postižení v obecné rovině. Práce má formu kompilace a jejím cílem je poskytnout sumarizaci poznatků o mentálním postižení – vymezení stěžejních pojmů, co pro rodinu znamená mít člena s mentálním postižením. Dále to, jakými fázemi prochází rodina s mentálně postižením dítětem, jaké styly rodinné výchovy volí a také to, jak mentální postižení ovlivnilo sourozence takto postiženého člověka. Vzhledem k tématu práce se zabývám vybranými sociálními dopady mentálního postižení v obecné rovině. Také v práci podávám přehled o přístupech ke zdravotnímu postižení, jaké byly preferovány v minulosti a jaké jsou upřednostňovány dnes.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on intellectual disability and social impacts of this type of disability. The thesis has a form of compilation and the main aim is to provide the summarization of knowledge - in terms of defining the fundamental terms – what does it mean for a family to have a person with intellectual disability. Also the phazes of parents´coping with the intellectual disability of their child, styles of family education used in a family with intellectual disabled child and how this dissability has changed siblings´perception of the world. Since the topic, chosen social impacts of intellectual disability are depicted . Summary of approaches to people with disabilities is also given as well as their usage in the past and in the presence.
