The film adaptations of S. King´s work
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce je věnována dílu amerického spisovatele Stephena Kinga, konkrétně pak jeho románům, jenž byly zfilmovány. V úvodu práce jsou popsány teorie vzniku filmových adaptací a klasifikace adaptačních postupů. Dále jsou zmíněny důležité životní mezníky autora, které působily na rozvoj jeho poetiky. The Bachelor's thesis is dedicated to the work of American writer Stephen King, specifically to his novels, which were later adapted into films. In the introductory part of the thesis are described the theories about the development of film adaptations and classification of adaptive procedures.
