Abstract:
Práce se zabývá díly Irvina Welshe a také jeho vztahem k jeho rodnému městu Edinburku, v němž se podstatná část jeho děl odehrává. Zkoumaným vzorkem jsou dva jeho romány, jež na sebe volně navazují, jmenovitě Trainspotting a Porno. V obou případech je nastíněna hlavní dějová linie a významné části díla. Abstract:
The thesis deals with the works of Irvine Welsh and also with his relation to his hometown of Edinburgh where the significant part of his work takes part. The examined samples are two of his novels that follow up loosely, namely Trainspotting and Porno. In both cases the main storyline and the significant parts of the works is outlined.
