Cybercrime - the threat of virtual environment

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o současné problematice počítačové kriminality, která se stala velkým fenoménem 21. století. V této práci bych ráda charakterizovala základní pojmy spjaté s kyberkriminalitou a uvedla na pravou míru některá základní fakta, včetně možností prevence. Dále zde detailněji rozeberu zákony a normy, které mají zásadní vliv v oblasti tohoto protiprávního jednání. Budu se také podrobněji věnovat jednotlivým druhům počítačové kriminality včetně jejich zařazení v trestním právu České republiky a okrajově bych také ráda popsala rizika nebezpečného chování na sociálních sítích, které představují hrozbu zejména mezi dnešní mládeží. Posléze se pokusím všechny své poznatky získané během vypracování této práce uplatnit na konkrétních případech z praxe. Byla bych ráda, aby tato práce sloužila jako stručný průvodce touto tématikou a blíže tak obeznámila čtenáře s oblastí počítačové kriminality.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the current problem of computer crime which became a great phenomenon in the 21st century. In this thesis, I would like to characterize the basic concepts associated with cybercrime and introduce some basic facts, including the possibilities of prevention. Furthermore, I will analyze the laws and standards that have a major impact on this infringement in more detail. I will also deal closely with individual types of cybercrime and their inclusion in the Criminal Law of the Czech Republic. Marginally, I would also like to describe the risks of dangerous behavior on social networks, which pose a threat especially for today's youth. Afterwards, I will try to apply my knowledge gained during the elaboration of this work to specific cases from practice. I would like this work to serve as a brief guide to this topic and to acquaint the readers with the field of cybercrime.
