Defunct villages in the former military area Ralsko

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Zaniklé obce v bývalém vojenském prostoru Ralsko se v literární části zabývá problematikou oblastí bývalých Sudet, bývalých vojenských prostorů, způsoby rekonverze BVP a uvádí příklady znovuoživení zaniklých vesnic a občanských sdružení, která pomáhají v oblastech bývalých Sudet. V návrhové části se bakalářská práce věnuje analytickému rozboru území o rozloze 9 km2 a v něm zaniklým vesnicím Křída, Olšina, Proseč, Kostřice, Kracmanov a Okna. Z výsledků analýz se poté vychází při vytváření ideového návrhu v řešeném území, který má za cíl zachovat divokou přírodu, ale současně se snaží, aby příroda zcela nepohltila dochované důkazy o kdysi trvalém osídlení této oblasti v podobě starých alejí, rybníků, cest, sakrálních objektů nebo pískovcových sklepů. Návštěvníci by zároveň měli mít možnost seznámit se s historií před vznikem vojenského újezdu Ralsko a pamětníci a lidé, kteří mají o oblast zájem, by zde měli mít prostor k zavzpomínání si na zaniklé vesnice a pořádání vzpomínkových setkání.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis on the topic Defunct villages in the former military area Ralsko focuses, in its literary part, on issues of the area of the former Sudetenland, the former military areas, the ways of reconversion of former military areas and it shows the examples of defunct villages’ revivals and the examples of civic associations, which help in this area of former Sudetenland. Further, the bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of studied territory, with area of 9 km2 and the defunct villages Křída, Olšina, Proseč, Kostřice, Kracmanov and Okna located in this territory. The project of bachelor thesis is based on the results of this analysis and it is intended to conserve the wild nature and at the same time it tries the nature not to overwhelm the preserved evidence about once a permanent settlement of this area in the form of old alleys, ponds, paths, sacral structures or sandstone cellars. Thus the visitors should have a chance to get to know about the history before the establishment of the military area Ralsko and the contemporary witnesses and people who are interested in this area should have the opportunity to think back to the defunct villages and organize the memorial meetings.
