Analysis of the tertiary sector in Cuba with a focus on education and healthcare

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá pokrok v terciárním sektoru na Kubě se zaměřením na vzdělávání a zdravotnictví po roce 2000. Právě v těchto odvětvích se v rámci pokroku stala Kuba mezinárodně uznávanou. Teoretická část se věnuje analýze pokroku dosaženého ve zkoumaných odvětvích společně s jejich vzájemným propojením. Empirická část se zabývá vlivem změn zapříčiněných pokrokem v terciárním sektoru na místní obyvatele. Cílem práce je porovnání výsledků analýzy se socioekonomickými ukazateli spolu se zjištěním míry vlivu na životní úroveň obyvatel Kuby.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis examines the progress in the tertiary sector in Cuba with a focus on education and health care after the year 2000. In terms of progress has Cuba become internationally recognized in these sectors. The theoretical part is devoted to the analysis of the progress achieved in the examined sectors together with their interconnection. The empirical part deals with the impact of changes caused by progress in the tertiary sector on the local population of Cuba. The aim of this thesis is to compare the results of the analysis with socio-economic indicators together with the degree of influence on the living standards of the Cuban population.
