V tejto bakalárskej práci sa venujem teórii prípravy indukovaných pluripotentných kmeňových buniek (iPSCs), ich génovým modifikáciám a následným aplikáciám pri liečbe konkrétnych ochorení. Popisujem históriu iPSCs, porovnávam výhody/nevýhody oproti embryonálnym kmeňovým bunkám.
