Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá popisem hry Othello od Williama Shakespeara a má za cíl porovnat literární a vybraná filmová zpracování. Pokusí se také přiblížit, jak Shakespeare pracoval s předlohou Maur a Desdemona od italského autora jménem Giovan Battista Giraldi (Cinthio). Práce je rozdělena na literární verzi a filmové verze. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with a delineation of the play Othello by William Shakespeare. Its aim is to compare literary and selected screen adaptations. It also tries to give an idea of how Shakespeare worked with the tale of the Moor and Desdemona by the Italian author Giovan Battista Giraldi Cinthio).
