Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou věkem podmíněné makulární degenerace a jejími projevy, příčinami a prevencí. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na anatomii sítnici a fyziologii vidění. Následně obsahuje souhrnný přehled o VPMD zahrnující epidemiologii, jednotlivé typy, vyšetřovací metody a možnosti terapie. Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with age-related macular degeneration and its symptoms, reasons and prevention. The theoretical part focuses on the retina anatomy and physiology of vision. Subsequently contains a summary overview of AMD including epidemiology, dividing into symptoms, actualy diagnosis and treatment options.
