LOD Implementation to BIM environment within Czech legislation terms

Abstract:

Předmětem této práce je problematika úrovně vývoje projektu a management procesů s tím spojených. Čtenář je v práci seznámen se základními pojmy z oblasti informačního modelování budov (Building Information Modeling - BIM) a jeho propojením s úrovní vývoje projektu (Level Of Development - LOD). Intence této diplomové práce je v ověření propojení úrovní vývoje projektu v prostředí informačního modelování budov a projektu v určitém stupni projektové dokumentace dle legislativy ČR pomocí výzkumu na konkrétní stavbě. Tento výzkum přispívá k iniciativě aktivní pracovní skupiny „PS#03: BIM & Realizace“, která je součástí Odborné rady pro BIM. Iniciativa této skupiny spočívá ve zformování Návrhu přiřazení LOD k jednotlivým stupňům projektové dokumentace v České republice. Tato diplomová práce ověřuje propojení modelování z pohledu projektanta s národní legislativou a stupni projektové dokumentace a bude sloužit k ověření správnosti postupů a definic doposud navržených uvedenou pracovní skupinou. Zároveň bude v práci představen možný postup managementu informací na praktické ukázce s využitím konkrétních nástrojů.

Abstract:

The object of this paper is the issue of Level of Development and management of associated processes. The reader of this work is acquainted with the basic terminology of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its connection with the Level of Development (LOD) of the project. Intention of this thesis is the verification of links between the Level of Development of the project in the surroundings of Building Information Modeling and the project of a certain degree of project documentation in accordance with the legislation of the Czech Republic through the research on a specific building. This research contributes to the initiative of active working group „PS#03: BIM & Realizace“, which is the part of the Czech BIM Council. The initiative of this group consists in formation of a LOD draft assignment to the individual stages of project documentation in the Czech Republic. This thesis verifies the connection of modeling from designer´s perspective with national legislation and degrees of project documentation and the thesis will be used as a verification of rightness of procedures and definitions previously drafted by mentioned working group. There will be also introduced the possible procedure to information management by the practical demonstration of using the specific tools.
