Role of the class teacher in solving indiscipline and its prevention

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá rolí třídního učitele, jeho přístupy a metodami vztahujícími se k řešení a prevenci školní nekázně. Práce se skládá z teoretické a empirické části a obsahuje kvalitativní výzkumnou sondu. Teoretická část je rozdělena do dvou kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá kázní a její kategorizací. Následně je pozornost věnována kázni školní. Podkapitola školní kázně obsahuje trojí pojetí školní kázně, projevy a příčiny školní nekázně a dále zahrnuje popis komplexní péče o žáky s kázeňskými problémy v rámci spolupráce školního poradenského pracoviště a třídního učitele. Druhá kapitola se zabývá třídním učitelem a jeho specifickými činnostmi, které hrají roli v řešení a prevenci školní nekázně. V druhé kapitole jsou také představeny strategie v prevenci nekázně a postupy třídního učitele v jejím řešení ve spojitosti se specifiky třídnictví. Závěrem druhé kapitoly jsou vymezeny kázeňské prostředky, opatření a zásady výchovného působení, které třídní učitel ve vztahu ke kázni ve škole uplatňuje. Empirická část obsahuje metodologii výzkumného šetření, definici výzkumného problému, popis výzkumného vzorku a cíl výzkumu. Na základě postupu analýzy dat jsou data interpretována. V rámci vymezených kategorií jsou představeny charakteristiky školní nekázně, jejího řešení a prevence v roli třídních učitelů 2. stupně ZŠ.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis follows up a role of a class teacher, their approach and methods related to dealing with and prevention of school indiscipline. The thesis consists of theoretical and empirical parts and contains a qualitative research probe. The theoretical part is divided in two chapters. In the first chapter, we look into the problematics of discipline and its categorization. Subsequently, it focuses on school discipline. In the subchapter about school discipline we present its three definitions, displays and causes of indiscipline, and further describe the complex care of pupils with discipline problems within cooperation of school advice department and the class teacher. The second chapter is about class teachers and their specific actions, which play an important role in dealing with and preventing school indiscipline. It also introduces strategies in prevention of indisciplone and approaches of the class teacher, while dealing with the problem in connection to the specifics of a class teacher‘s work. Concusion of the second chapter defines discipline resources, measures and principles of educational function, which the class teacher applies in relation to the disciplne in their school. The empirical part contains methodology of an investigative research, definition of the research subject, description of research sample and the aim of the research. Collected data is interpreted based on data analysis process. Within the defined categories we introduce the characteristics of school indiscipline, its solutions and prevention in the role of second grade class teachers of elementary schools.
