Abstract:

Informační systémy a digitální technologie potkáváme na nejrůznějších medicínských pracovištích stále častěji. Podstatný je ovšem fakt, že tyto systémy se staly neoddělitelnou součástí každodenní práce v medicíně. Rovněž radioterapii zasáhla v posledních letech řada změn, a to nejen v používání nových progresivních technologií – diagnostických i terapeutických, ale i v aplikacích informačních technologií (IT) a informačních systémů. Zavedení a používání těchto systémů vedlo ke zkvalitnění činnosti, sjednocení pracovních postupů (workflow), homogenizaci systémů a v neposlední řadě i ke zlepšení systémů řízení jakosti u zdrojů ionizujícího záření a zvýšení bezpečnosti a kvality při ozařování pacientů. Tato práce řeší digitalizaci pracoviště radioterapie ve Fakultní nemocnici Olomouc. Je zde popsáno řešení přechodu z původního analogového a manuálního zpracování informací a postupů, na současný digitalizovaný provoz, řízený pomocí informačních technologií a informačních systémů. Díky implementaci informačních technologií a digitálních systémů bylo na onkologické klinice ve FN Olomouc pracovišti radioterapie dosaženo jednotného pracovního postupu pro různé modality, zvýšení kvality ozařování a rovněž zvýšení průchodnosti pacientů – efektivita ozařování (práce) i při používání náročnějších ozařovacích metod – IMRT, IGRT, VMAT.

Abstract:

Information systems and digital technologies are now encountered in various medical departments with increasing regularity. Needless to say, it is a fact of importance that these systems have become a fundamental part of everyday work in medicine. Similarly, radiotherapy has been affected by a number of changes in the last years, not only as regards the use of new progressive technologies - diagnostic and therapeutic, but also in case of the application of information technologies (IT) and information systems. The introduction and use of these systems have resulted in more quality activities, unification of workflow, homogenization of systems as well as improvement of quality control systems for ionizing radiation sources and enhancement of safety and quality during radiation of patients. This work solves digitization of radiotherapy department of the Faculty Hospital Olomouc. It describes principle of a transition from the original analog and manual processing of information and procedures, to present digitized operations, controlled by information technology and information systems Thanks to the implementation of information technologies and digital systems, the radiotherapy department of the Oncologic Faculty, Faculty Hospital (FN) Olomouc, has succeeded in developing a unified workflow for various modalities, increasing the quality of radiation and number of patients treated – effectiveness of radiation (work) even in case of using more demanding radiation methods – IMRT, IGRT, VMAT.
