Modern control theory methods for electromechanical systems

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje moderní teorii řízení elektromechanických kmitavých soustav. Cílem je seznámit se s moderními metodami řízení, vytvořit vhodnou metodiku pro návrh složitých regulátorů a ověřit, zda poskytují lepší kvalitu regulace než klasické PID regulátory. Úvodní část práce se věnuje základům automatického řízení, na které navazuje popis moderních metod návrhu složitých regulátorů a také popis elektromechanických soustav a jejich typického chování. Na základě teoretických poznatků je v další kapitole vytvořena metoda návrhu složitých regulátorů pro elektromechanické kmitavé soustavy, která je implementována do aplikace s uživatelským prostředím. Závěrečná část práce je věnována experimentům a srovnání složitých regulátorů s PID regulací a je zakončena zkouškou na reálném systému. Součástí přílohy je návod na instalaci aplikace sloužící pro návrh složitých regulátorů.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the modern control theory of low damped electromechanical systems. The aim is to acquaint with modern methods of automatic control and develope an appropriate method for designing complex compensators and also compare the quality of control between complex and PID compensators. The basics of automatic control are presented at the beginning of the thesis, which continues with the description of modern design methods of complex compensators and also with description of electromechanical systems and their typical behaviour. New design method of complex compensators for electromechanical systems is proposed based on theoretical knowledge in the next chapter. Further on the design method is implemented in program with graphical user interface. In the final part of the thesis the complex compensators are compared to PID on several electromechanical systems as well as on a real one. The appendix of the thesis provides installation guide.
