Social, Psychological and Educational Aspects of the Execution of the Confinement in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na výkon trestu odnětí svobody z hlediska sociálního, psychologického a edukačního a na dopad trestu do osobní sféry odsouzeného. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část práce se zabývá filozoficko-historickými aspekty, které souvisejí s vězeňstvím a výkonem trestu odnětí svobody, dále pak právní úpravou této problematiky a také její sociální, psychologické a výchovné aspekty včetně možné resocializace pachatelů. Praktická část sleduje problematiku výkonu trestu odsouzených v kontextu s probíranou problematikou.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the execution of confinement from the social, psychological and educational point of view and it refers to its impact on personal life of a convict. The work consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical one deals with philosophical and historical aspects that are inherently related to a penitentiary and the execution of confinement. Moreover, it concerns with the issue-related legislation. Finally, this part addresses social, psychological and educational facets of a convict`s rehabilitation including his/her possible re-socialization. The practical part monitors the issue of the execution of confinement in the context of the discussed issue.
